Ibadan's colonial-era town hall on Mapo Hill, with views over the brown roofs.
Built between 1925 and 1929 on top of Mapo Hill, in one of the oldest parts of Ibadan, Mapo Hall is a neoclassical colonial building that has hosted major political events in the city's history. Inside is a small museum with portraits of past Olubadans, and the wide terrace around the building looks out over the old city's rooftops. It also hosts events, so parts of it may be closed on some days.
